Gas indexes slump in February

Argus’ European prompt and front-month gas indexes slid last month, as a rise in LNG deliveries allowed for sendout to be turned up to help deal with another cold spell. The Dutch TTF front-month index settled more than €3/MWh lower for March than for February, when it rose by more than €4/MWh. The index fell most at Spain’s PVB and the UK’s NBP and it fell the least in central and eastern Europe.
