Terminal owner hopes to load more

Product exports through the 2.5mn t/yr Interferrum-Metall terminal at St Pe- tersburg’s Bolshoi port rose by 13pc on the year to 522,100t in January-April and management hope the trend will continue. Loading operations almost doubled to 1.5mn t last year, driven by the start of base oil handling from June. Supplies of base oil to Interferrum-Metall, all for ex- port, reached 284,400t in January-April, although shipments of most other prod- ucts declined — vacuum gasoil by nearly a third on the year, while gas condensate distillate exports slumped to just 7,500t from 195,000t.
