Transneft crude fows up on the year

May crude supplies to non-CIS destinations through Russia’s Transneft pipeline system were higher on the year for the frst time in 12 months. Exports rose by more than 4pc against April to 3.92mn b/d (16.7mn t) — a 13-month high and up by 7pc on the year — as a result of reduced deliveries to Russian refneries during maintenance and a drop in supply to Belarus’ 240,000 b/d Novopolotsk refnery because of US sanctions. Exports by Russian shippers rose by 6pc to 3.59mn b/d (15.26mn t), as transit fows fell by 10pc to 336,000 b/d.
