Ventspils Nafta to start loading aromatics

Latvia’s Ventpsils Nafta (VN) terminal — the largest oil outlet in the Baltic states — could start loading MTBE and other blending components following installation of a vapour recovery system that is due to be completed in September. VN and US firm Aereon signed a deal in January to install a vapour recovery unit at the loading complex. It was initially expected that the unit would be located at a site owned by the neighbouring Ventbunkers terminal, but it was decided in October 2016 to build the unit at the VN terminal.
