Japanese companies sign MOU for biocoal

Canadian torrefied biomass product producer Biomass Secure Power (BSP) signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Japanese trading firm Daichu and Pegasus Commodities on 1 June, to represent BSP and introduce its patented biocoal product to the Japanese market as an alternative to coal. The MOU was signed to help BSP secure off-take and licensing agreements of its biocoal in Japan, BSP told Argus.
