The Argus cif northwest Europe(NWE)spot index for industrial wood pellets delivered in the next 90-days rose by $4.03/t on the week to $150.97/t on Wednesday,an 11-month high,as the market adjusted to a strong rise in European and transatlantic freight rates in recent weeks.Tight vessel availability has listed transatlantic handysize wood pellet freight rates to their highest levels since November 2018 in recent weeks.While in Europe,rates from the Baltics and Russia rose to all-time highs on Wednesday.
