The Argus fob Baltic spot index for industrial wood pellets edged higher on the week to Wednesday, as a deal for volumes delivered in the 90-day window concluded. A deal for 15,000t of SBP-certified wood pellets of Russian origin concluded in the week, closing at €114/t on a fob Baltic basis for delivery over the next two months. The deal supported a 55c/t increased on the Argus fob Baltic spot index, which closed at €114.22/t.
