UK RHI large biomass boiler capacity applications up

The total amount of large biomass boiler capacity applied for under the UK’s non-domestic renewable heat incentive (RHI) subsidy scheme showed record growth in October. But no new applications were made for medium-sized boilers with 200-1,000MW of capacity in October, down from an average of 149 applications each month in January-September.
