Spain’s Novare targets biomass exports

Spanish renewables investment firm Novare is targeting biomass export markets through long-term supply contracts for wood chips and wood pellets. Novare expects this month to sign a five-year contract for wood chip supply to a European utility, to start in 2019. Discussions with more potential buyers are under way, the firm said.
