Lynemouth biomass plant start-up delayed to 2018

Czech-Slovak private-sector energy holding firm EPH has further delayed the start date of its 396MW Lynemouth coalto-biomass power plant conversion in the UK. The converted plant’s first unit is now expected to start operating on 15 January 2018, with the plant scheduled to reach full capacity on 12 March 2018, remit data show. The facility was previously expected to launch operations on 16 December and reach full capacity on 16 February 2018.
