An increase in European wood pellet consumption and spot demand lifted the Argus cif northwest Europe (NWE) spot index for industrial wood pellets delivered in the next 90- days for the ninth consecutive week on Wednesday. The index increased by $1.55/t on the week to $142.64/t cif NWE on Wednesday - almost $12/t higher on the month.
