ATI 310S is a 25Cr-20Ni austenitic stainless steel that is typically used for elevated temperature applications. Owing to its higher chromium and nickel contents the alloy provides comparable corrosion resistance, superior resistance to oxidation, and the retention of a larger fraction of room temperature strength than the common austenitic stainless steels such as Type 304.
