ReconAfrica fnds petroleum system onshore Namibia

ReconAfrica said it has uncovered a working petroleum sys- tem with the frst of three wells onshore Namibia. The Canadian minnow operates PEL 73 covering 25,000sq km in the Kalahari Desert in the Kavango Basin in the far northeast of the country. It also holds neighbouring acreage in northwest Botswana. Drilling involves one stratigraphic test and two delineation wells targeting conventional reservoirs.
