Angola cuts costs to try and entice smaller operators

Angolan regulator ANPG has quickly extended its onshore bid deadline and cut the price of data packages in order to try and entice smaller operators rather than its traditional fodder of majors in deepwater.The round for nine onshore blocks only launched at the end of April and interested operators had to pay US $1m to get access to data packages with bids due in by June 9 and an opening ceremony on June 10.
