Mozambique sets Eni Angoche wildcat this year

Mozambique confrmed Eni will drill its frst wildcat in the frontier Angoche Basin late this year but stayed quiet on an ExxonMobil probe due around the same time. Eni won Block A5-A in the Angoche in 2015 with a commit- ment to drill two wells. In 2019 it invited expressions of inter- est for drilling that year but later sent out a tender for drilling in early 2021.
