Costs for the frst phase of BP’s Greater Tortue Ahmeyim (GTA) LNG project off Mauritania and Senegal have jumped by US $600m due mainly to supplier delays and cost infation. First gas has also been put back slightly due to the late de- livery of the FPSO by TechnipFMC from the COSCO yard in China, although partner Kosmos says the approval of the sec- ond phase of the project will still take place next year.
