Addax Nigeria quartet reawarded

Four blocks in Nigeria with high levels of untapped reserves have been taken away from Addax Petroleum and very quickly handed over to a linked politically strong consortium of Kaz- tec Engineering/Salvic Petroleum Re- sources. Department of Petroleum Resourc- es (DPR) boss Auwalu Sarki wrote to the companies saying that OMLs 123, 124, 126 and 137 would be taken away because of lack of activity and then quickly reawarded without any tender- ing.
