BP given until year end for Angolan PAJ

Angola has given BP until the end of the year to try and come up with a new commercial model for its PAJ project off Angola. The UK operator put the project on hold for at least one year in early 2020 after contractors had submitted bids for a competitive pre-FEED for the greenfeld development in Block 31. It later told the shortlist to expect a 12 to 18 month delay although it has been back to FPSO companies to see how costs can be reduced further.
