Sonangol extends deadline amidst high interest

Sonangol extended the deadline for the sale of its stake in eight blocks off Angola due to high interest. The sale only started in mid-June but originally bids were due in by a very hasty August 6 with negotiations to be com- pleted by the end of the year. This was changed to keeping the data rooms open until Au- gust 20 with submission of proposals in by September 20.
