Rig mobilised to start Nigerian Oza development

A rig is now being mobilised for drilling on the Oza field in Nigeria as part of an “aggressive” development. Canada’s Asian Mineral Resources is buying Nigerian firm Decklar which has a risk service agreement for the marginal field. The rig will first be used for the re-entry and testing of the Oza-1 well, then immediately followed by the drilling of a horizontal development well.
