TechnipFMC expands Africa target list

TechnipFMC has added to its target list off Africa and said it expects to become less reliant on public tenders and more on awards from projects on which is has privately conducted early design work. “The subsea opportunity list has expanded since our last update, refecting our view of renewed customer confdence, given the improved economic outlook, lower market volatility and higher oil price. We experienced strong momentum in front-end activi- ty in the second half of last year and we expect this to continue throughout 2021, creating an environment for a more sustainable deepwater recovery,” said chief executive Doug Pferdehirt.
