…and awards Gabon FSO to new contractor after talks fail

VAALCO Energy has awarded the contract for an FSO to re- place the existing FPSO on the Etame Marin project off Ga- bon to World Carrier after negotiations with Omni failed. Earlier this year the US independent decided not to extend the contract with BW Offshore for the Petroleo Nautipa which has been on the block since 2002 but for which the contract expires next September.
