Perenco finalises extra Congo B quartet

Perenco has finalised plans for an extra four wells to add to the 11 it had already approved to revive production at its PNGF Sud block off Congo Brazzaville.The French independent took over the acreage which hosts five maturing fields and seven wellhead platforms from Total in 2017.It has already lifted production from around 17,000 b/d to 22,700 b/d and cut opex from US $25 per bbl to $10.4 per bbl.
