Springfeld has won the frst skirmish with Eni over the uni- tisation of the Sankofa and Afna felds off Ghana but with billions of dollars at stake the Italian frm will be using all of its renowned political manoeuvring to win the battle. Eni has 770m boe in the Offshore Cape Three Points block which started production in 2017 via the phased development of the Sankofa and Gye Name felds into an FPSO.
