Tullow firms Namibia wildcat with hopes for second

Tullow Oil has firmed up a date next year for its first wildcat off Namibia with hopes that it will include a second well in neighbouring acreage after India's ONGC took an extra stake. The UK independent has set a date of 1 September to drill a well on the Cormorant prospect in PEL 37. This is a submarine fan with estimated recoverable reserves of 124m bbl of oil in 1,805ft (550m) of water.
