BP Mauritania boost with Gas Master Plan award

off Mauritania will follow the government’s award of a contract to develop a Gas Master Plan. The companies have an LNG project to commercialise some of the gas reserves in the Tortue discovery which straddles both Senegal and Mauritania. They also have separate discoveries off both countries with Yakaar off Senegal earmarked for domestic power but Bir Allah and Orca off Mauritania uncertain.
