Subsea interest in for Total Angolan Cameia fast-track

The subsea contractors have now joined FPSO companies in submitting their interest in Total’s Cameia project off Angola.Expressions of interest were due in on Tuesday for the SURF and subsea system contracts for the project in 5,575ft (1,700m) of wa-ter in Block 21/09. Production capacity will be 100,000 b/d with 16 to 18 wells to be involved. Total is hoping to fast-track the project with frst oil theoretically in 2024 but there is still a lot to be decided, including the exact production fgures and number of wells.
