NKT FY2019 shows declining profitability and sales

Denmark's NKT saw its FY 2019 net loss widen to -€87 million (-$97 million) from -€46 million (-$55 million) in FY 2018. NKT Cables posted sales of €1.26 billion ($1.42 billion), down - 12% y/y. The company's FY 2019 net loss widened to -€76 million (-$85 million) from a net loss of -€46 million (-$55 million) in FY 2018. This led to a decline in both operating and profit margins from -3% each to -7% and -6% respectively (see Table 6 above).
