MEA markets awaiting direction after the Chinese New Year holidays

HR coil import offers to the GCC have stabilised since mid-January. CIS origin HR coil isbeing offered to the GCC at $740–750 /t, CFR (unchanged m/m), while Chinese origin HRcoil offer prices are at $760–770 /t, CFR. Indian mills are offering HR coil to GCC-basedbuyers at a $10 /t premium to Chinese offers.
