CONTRACT TO REFURBISH HERCULES FOR PHILIPPINES

A CONTRACT has been awarded to Tyonek Services Overhaul Facility, headquartered at Kiln, Mississippi, for Excess Defense Article (EDA) Regeneration for the Philippines Air Force (PAF) under the Foreign Military Sales program. The US Air Force Life Cycle Management Center awarded the indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract, which has a ceiling of $24.98m on June 4. The estimated value of the initial order is $4.7m. The contractor will provide the PAF with full C-130 EDA Regeneration to include program depot maintenance. Work will be performed in Waco, Texas, and is expected to be completed by December 2022.
