Millipore Corp (Billerica,MA)met guidance for the second quarter of 2003 with a 12% growth in revenues,although excluding positive currency effects growth was only 3%.Revenues for the quarter ended 30th of June were US196.0 million with slow growth of under 1% for the company's Biotechnology division,affected by "timing issues related to the scheduling of manufacturing campaigns and plant build-outs by customers,"according to the company.
