摘要

About 40% of patients undergoing percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) present with high bleeding risk (HBR) according to combination of major and minor criteria standardized in 2019 by the Academic Research Consortium for HBR (ARC-HBR). Based on subsequent validation studies of the ARC-HBR definition, these patients are exposed to a risk of serious or life-threatening bleeding events >4% at 1 year from PCI. For patients at HBR, dual antiplatelet therapy (DAPT) is currently indicated for 1 to 6 months after PCI depending on their clinical presentation and other circumstances.
