US retailer rankings show 'notable progress' on chemicals management despite pandemic

An annual 'report card' grading the chemical safety policies of major retail chains has found that almost two thirds (64%) reported "notable progress" in reducing substances of concern or improving their chemical policies, despite the challenges they faced from the Covid-19 pandemic. According to the 30 March report, published by the Mind the Store campaign of the US non-profit Safer Chemicals, Healthy Families, the pandemic "raged through" more than three quarters of the grading period.
