The European Commission has adopted amendments to Annex VI of the CLP Regulation to bring legal clarity to certain notes related to substances classified as carcinogenic or mutagenic. The changes, published in the EU's Official Journal on 20 April, form the 16th adaptation to technical progress (ATP) of CLP. They follow requests the Commission received from member states and stakeholders to amend the notes set out in subsection 1.1.3 of Part 1 of Annex VI.
