Vermont publishes chemical disclosure guidance for children’s product manufacturers

Vermont’s Department of Health has issued new guidance laying out the latest disclosure requirements for manufacturers selling children’s products within the state. The health department last year proposed adding formaldehyde releasers to its list of substances that must be reported under the state’s Chemicals of High Concern in Children's Products Rule. Under the programme, manufacturers must disclose if children’s products sold in the state contain any of 86 designated high-concern chemicals.
