South Korea plans to require cosmetics labels to include known side effects

South Korea’s Ministry of Food and Drug Safety (MFDS) is planning to revise its regulation on cosmetics efficacy claims to require that labels and adverts document any known side effects. Products under the scope of the proposal include: cosmetics; perfumes and toilet waters; beauty, make-up and skin preparations; manicure or pedicure products; and hair and shaving items.
