Danish study finds harmful chemicals in products bought online

Denmark’s EPA has found and seized goods containing illegal levels of harmful chemicals in two separate projects assessing the compliance of consumer products imported into the country. The first project analysed 54 items containing PVC imported into Denmark from online stores in other EU countries and outside the EU. It found 24% of samples (13 products) exceeded the limit values for lead or cadmium.
