OECD case studies move read-across towards broader regulatory adoption

The publication of six OECD case studies shows promise for the broader regulatory adoption of advanced use of read-across to fill data gaps in chemical risk assessment. While the documents are not binding in relation to any potential regulation of the substances and hazard endpoints covered, they provide an indication of stakeholder thinking in relation to read-across and point to the options regulators might consider taking.
