摘要

Lawmakers in Oregon's Senate have failed to advance legislation that would have allowed the state to address classes of chemicals in children's products and expand product reporting obligations for some manufacturers. The demise of HB 2495 delays, for now, a potential update to the state's 2015 Toxic Free Kids Act. It also solidifies the January 2022 compliance date for manufacturers to phase out the use of more than 60 High Priority Chemicals of Concern for Children's Health (HPCCCHs) in three product categories, or seek a waiver.
