摘要

Regional environmental protection agencies (EPAs) in China have ramped up the number of product inspections at ports and other sites in a bid to clamp down on those containing unregistered new substances, since the revisions to MEE Order 12 came into force in January. Under the Regulation, substances that are not listed in China's Inventory of Existing Chemical Substances (IECSC) are regarded as new and local manufacturers and importers must register them.
