NGO Platform: SIN List adds PMTs and a first nanomaterial

ChemSec’s Substitute It Now List (SIN List) has been in existence for nearly 12 years and recently saw a number of major updates. Anna Lennquist, senior toxicologist at the Sweden-based NGO, takes a look at the SIN List and the reasoning behind the recent additions. In November 2019 ChemSec added 60 substances to its Substitute It Now (SIN List). This brought the number of chemicals on the list of hazardous substances to almost a thousand.
