US EPA seeks public engagement, input on TSCA risk management options

The US EPA has launched a public outreach campaign to educate and engage with businesses, NGOs and the general public on the agency’s upcoming TSCA rulemaking process to manage identified chemical risks. The effort, announced on 8 September, allows the EPA to discuss the tools available to control risks it has identified in its TSCA risk evaluations. It also provides companies and other members of the public with an opportunity to feedback to the agency on regulatory options it may consider, as well as how chemicals are currently used and managed.
