European Commission extends discussion time for CLP revision following complaints

The European Commission has pushed back its 'indicative' schedule for CLP revision, following objections from 'various stakeholders' concerned about the time needed to prepare for consultation. Sylvain Bintein from DG Environment told attendees of an online meeting on persistent, mobile and toxic (PMT) substances on 26 March that it was now aiming to draft the proposal for CLP revision "by 2022" (see table at end of article).
