KG (AKW) with locations in Hirschau, Schnaittenbach, Caminau and Kemmlitz in Germany as well as in Gluhivzi in Ukraine is as Division 2 part of the Quarzwerke Group, Frechen. Managing Director Dr Otto Hieber (OH) - with AKW since 1993 and Managing Director of the Quarzwerke Group since 2003 - together with Hans-Jurgen Hofmann (HJH), who was appointed new General Sales Manager of Division 2 in July 2020, kindly agreed to answer our questions on current developments in the ceramic raw materials business.
