摘要

The present paper gives a closed-form expression for the backbone curve of 1:1 internal resonance with 2 symmetric impacts per period of a single DOF oscillator with vibro-impact nonlinear energy sink. Based on these results, a complete set of closed-form design rules for a vibro-impact nonlinear energy sink are derived. A nonlinear energy sink (NES) is a technique for passively reducing vibration amplitudes and/or decay of structures [28] .
