Tosyali Algerie hits record DRI output in 2020

The key Algerian steelmaker set a new production record last year despite head winds in the local and international markets due to the pandemic. The mill ramped up DRI output to serve the raw material requirement. Tosyali Algerie produced more than 2.23 million t of DRI in 2020, which is a world record for a single direct reduction module, according to the official statement.
