Only HR C production inches up in January-February in China

Among major five steel products, only HRC output slightly increased in January- February, comparing to December 2020, according to the latest data from National Bureau of Statistics of China (NBS). Despite a slight rise in crude steel production, finished steel output reduced by 8.5% to 3.55 million tpd over January-February from December last year, Metal Expert calculated from the total 209.53 million t reported by NBS.
