Export prices for Russian steel scrap keep rising in Turkey and the Far East, but only nominally so far. On the one hand, suppliers are hardly active, because a rise in the export duty has pushed the breakeven of some exporters above current bids. On the other hand, suppliers who find current levels acceptable are in no rush to sign deals, hoping for further increase.
