Purpose. - Assessing the therapeutic effects of stereotactic body radiotherapy (SBRT) for hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) takes time. Purpose of our study was to explore the relationships of changes in carbohydrate antigen 19-9 (CA 19-9) with those in the existing markers alpha-fetoprotein (AFP) and protein induced by vitamin K absence or antagonist-II (PIVKA-II).
