摘要

Near-infrared(MR)area is up-and-coming for fluorescence detection and bio-imaging with much less background signal and higher signal-to-noise ratio.Biological samples possess the NIR window of transparency and allow for in-depth bio-imaging in a real-time,nondestructive manner.In this aspect,several NIR emitting dyes have been developed for the labeling of biomolecules(peptides,proteins,and others),bio-imaging of specific organs(tumor site,blood vessel,and others),and sensing of biologically important species(metal ions,microenvironments,bio-markers,and others).
